Flexible, user friendly reporting
Our bIntelligent solutions provide simple-to-use, powerful analytic and reporting applications. Our solutions are designed to facilitate traditional structured reporting but also provide a comprehensive source for more flexible adhoc analysis. An extension of traditional paper reporting that currently exists in almost all organisations. It can be enhanced via web portals and via simple drop down selection options.

We have experience in delivering data to a variety of end users. Whether the user requirement is for Excel based reporting, balanced scorecard reporting, analytics or adhoc analysis we can help you identify and select the best tool for your end users.
 
We provide a library of transactional report views to enable business users to drill down from a KPI to underlying transaction details, where appropriate.
 
Project examples
European reinsurance company
We designed and built a reporting solution using information from their SICS/nt underwriting system, e-Work workflow management system and a set of spreadsheets containing planning targets. The solution covered underwriting, claims, actuarial and finance areas including the presentation of a US GAAP P&L view and comparison of amounts across plan, priced, UW estimates and accounted values. The solution was built on the SQL Server 2005 platform including Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), ProClarity Analytics, and an Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) based portal.
 
Large insurance intermediary 
We designed a reporting solution for Towergate Group to support KPI reporting for its broking division which comprised 65 separate companies on a variety of insurance broking platforms. The solution allowed the client to measure performance consistently across the entire group for reporting at board level. The solution was implemented on SQL Server 2005 database with Analysis Services cubes, Integration Services ETL, Reporting Services and ProClarity analytics, and presented with a SharePoint front-end.
 
Fiancial advisory network
Implemented a sales quality reporting solution to monitor performance of financial advisers and managers for sales quality case checks. The solution was implemented on SQL Server 2000 database with reports created in SQL Server Reporting Services 2000 and integrated into a custom developed web-based menu system.
 
Specialist insurer for transport risks
The insurer had a set of 15-20 spreadsheets that required many days of manual intervention to collate each months KPI data to monitor performance across the business. We developed a system using SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services 2000 to automate the collection of this data from an AS/400 source. OLAP cubes were built for each specific KPI and IntelligentApps was used to replicate the manual reports to save the time and effort that was required each month. As a result of the automated process, the insurer increased the frequency of the analysis to a weekly refresh but still retained the flexibility and detail required.
